Mission
5:9 exists to promote peace and build bridges between the Muslim and Christian communities through interfaith dialogue and interaction, for the overall good of our culture, and also to teach Christians how to engage in interfaith dialogue.
Statement of Faith
We accept the Bible to be the very Word of God to man through men, and understanding the importance of knowing and obeying its truths, 5:9 Ministries is committed to operating under the authority of the Bible, and to study and teach it with diligence. We strongly seek to teach the Scriptures to people that they may know God and serve Him in worship and ministry. We teach the entire Bible; all 66 books of the combined Old and New Testaments, and believe they are verbally inspired by God and are inerrant in the original writings. Through the providence of God, the Word of God has been protected and preserved, and is the only infallible and authoritative rule of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21). We believe in one God who exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We neither blend the persons of God nor divide their essence. We believe that all people are guilty of sin and the required punishment for sin, as stated in the Bible, is death (Genesis 2:16-17, Romans 6:23). We believe that salvation from sin and its effects is only by the grace offered from God through the work of Jesus Christ in his life, death, and resurrection and is received by faith as revealed in the Bible.
